hi folks,

i have a question about kerberos v5. AFAIK, Kerberos v5 supports the options
renew and posdate for tickets. That means, an application client can request
the ticket to be renewed periodically or to use it in future with an
May-Postdate-Flag in TGT.

My question is, do the application server also have to check the validity of
the ticket concerning the timestamp and ticket lifetime?

Thanks in advance,
Effe
