Way way back in the olden days, I used to use aname_to_localname so
that I could get root nfs mappings to various machines with my root
instance tickets. In fact, I may have been the one to revive that
code in a few places. I haven't been following things closely enough
to know whether such functionality can be acheived in another way
these days. I suppose the need for aname_to_localname is reduced by
the increase in the number things that have direct support for
kerberos principals on access control lists.... Anyway, I'm not using
aname_to_localname anymore and don't have any plans to in the future
even though Kerberos is almost certain to be in my future
somewhere... :-) I bring this up just in case it jogs anyone's memory
of a legitimate reason not to remove it, though.
