Err - then you better document that beta 7 will not work on the Alpha
unless something is done. (I consider modifying util/db2/hash/dbm.c an option
- but make sure you include ndbm.h not db-ndbm.h!)
Also - shared library support will not currentl work on the Alpha and any platform
which does not need PIC code (lib/kadm5 assumes that the shared subdir is
populated)....
