The current Kerboers web page contains useful, but essentially dry and
dull, information. I think that the web page should serve essentially
as advertising. Remember, we want people to use and like Kerberos.
Right up front, in the most-likely-to-be read sections, it should
include things like:

o A concise but accurate description of what Kerberos does.

o A list of the most exciting features, recent developments, etc.

o Pointers to technical articles explaining Kerberos and its many
features, protocol issues, etc. Also, for fairness, pointers to
articles critical of Kerberos (e.g. B&M '91).

o A discussion comparing Kerberos to its competitors (e.g. SSH),
explaing why Kerberos kicks ass and SSH doesn't :-). A pointer to Don
Davis' to-be-published-at-USENIX paper on inherent design flaws with
public-key crypto would be great here.

o A spiffy graphic or too; perhaps steal the three-headed dog logo
from OV's Kerberos FAQ page (I think Chris Vanharen drew it or
acquired it).

And so on. Obviously, this is a lot of informatin and creating good
web pages is real work. But you asked for comments. :-)
