I object.  If beta6 is ever going to get out, we need to STOP MAKING

I meant to quote this in my last message.  What I wanted to say is
that barry is absolutely right.  I'm personally biased towards db,
especially since it makes it feasible to do efficient iterations of
subsets of the database in the future, but I'd rather see only dbm
than both.
