As a test with K5.4.2, I tried using kpasswd and giving just a
return when it asks for the new password. The password is not
changed but a message is displayed saying otherwise.
{GRS:67} /krb5.4.2/bin/kpasswd

Re-enter new password for verification: <----- Just hit CR here
A null password is not allowed!
