Help for expunging replay cache

Hello.
I am trying to install K5B4, but I cannot start the KDC server. It
always gives the error message:
krb5kdc: Permission denied in replay cache code while expunging
replay cache 'dfl:'
This happens on both Solaris 2,3 and AIX 3.2.4.
I followed the directions as best as possible (compile ok - at least the
kdc and admin parts), installed, created krb.conf, krb5_create,
krb5_stash, krb5_edit, but the server refuses to start.
Please tell me if this is something I'm doing wrong, or some other
problem. Also, please tell me if you need more information on a
particular area. The error message is most unhelpful, and I cannot glean
anything more by examining the source code.
