   Thanks for all the help, everyone.

   The X server Kerberos implementation that Tom Yu did for us for R6
   also puts the replay cache in /tmp.  Could you please check and see
   if it is subject to the same bug?

If the system has a cron job which periodically deletes stale files in
/tmp, the answer is yes.  Of course, today we have a similar problem if
the same cron job deletes /tmp/.X11-unix, so I don't think we ought to
consider it a terribly serious bug.
