Mr. Hartman,

Thank you for your reply.  Since I sent the email about the problem there 
have been some developments.  I don't want to go into details except to say 
that we have verified that MIT Kerberos 1.2.2 definitely has a problem with 
Microsoft Windows XP Pro.  We are switching to 1.2.4 which seems to solve 
the problems.  Microsoft agreed with this assesment and we are proceeding 
to close our support case with them.  Unless you want further specific 
information about the problem you can assume we have fixed this problem, 
and I require no further assistance from you.
