I've installed MIT Kerberos 5 on my FreeBSD machine. I am now trying to =
install Cyrus SASL as well. When I run "configure" for Cyrus SASL with =
GSSAPI support, I get these positive sounding messages:
...
checking for gssapi.h... (cached) yes
...
checking GSSAPI... with implementation mit
But when I run "make" for SASL, I get the following warning:
*** Warning: This library needs some functionality provided by =
-lgssapi_krb5.
*** I have the capability to make that library automatically link in =
when
*** you link to this library. But I can only do this if you have a
*** shared version of the library, which you do not appear to have.
Shouldn't this library exist because I've already installed Kerberos 5? =
I think my problems getting SASL to support GSSAPI might be related to =
this. Can anyone advise?
Thanks,
David Abouav
