Hello, I do not have root priviledges - however, I am attempting
to install Kerberos V on my home directory on a Sparc20 running
sunOS 4.x;After building kerberos i ran the test suite but it
seemed to exit on error while attempting to 'resolve'. I also
attempted to create the database by typing:
hurricane% /home/robert/kerberos/krb5-1.0.2/src/kadmin/dbutil/kdb5_util create -r JPL.NASA.GOV -s
The error I got:
krb5_init_context failed with error #-1765328249
---------------------------
I also attempted to install kerberos IV on my home directory. I attempted
to run:
make world SRCDIR=/home/robert/kerberos
The error I got:
cd util/makedepend; make
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/robert/kerberos/util/makedepend'
cc -O -I../.././include '-DINCLUDEDIR="/usr/include"' -DATHENA_COMPAT -DATHENA -DKERBEROS -DVFS -DUIDGID_T -DNDBM -c main.c
"main.c", line 83: incomplete struct/union/enum sigvec: sig_vec
"main.c", line 84: too many struct/union initializers
"main.c", line 84: cannot recover from previous errors
cc: acomp failed for main.c
make[2]: *** [main.o] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/robert/kerberos/util/makedepend'
make[1]: *** [depend] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/robert/kerberos'
make: *** [world] Error 2
I was hoping for some advice on how to proceed. Thank you for reading.
