We seem to having a problem with ftpd running on a application host.
ftp gives the following error :
spock.ee.cornell.edu# [1:14pm] 50>/usr/local/bin/ftp
picard.ee.cornell.edu
Connected to picard.ee.cornell.edu.
220 picard FTP server (Version 5.60) ready.
334 Using authentication type GSSAPI; ADAT must follow
GSSAPI accepted as authentication type
GSSAPI error major: No error
GSSAPI error minor: No error
GSSAPI error: acquiring credentials
GSSAPI ADAT failed
GSSAPI authentication failed
We do not get this error when using ftp to a kdc and rlogin and all the
other services work fine on picard. The ketab looks ok and all the
inetd stuff looks ok as well. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix
this? We are not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you know of any
fixes that would be helpful.
Thanks!
Paul
