It appears that the stock header files for Solaris 2.5.1 does not include
a define for MAXHOSTNAMELEN which is bombing out on several files.  I am
manually adding an #ifndef in the files that need it and defining it to
be 256--which should be more than enough.  I notice that Solaris 1.x
defines it in sys/param.h as 64...
