1) Beta 5 is not the latest release of Krb5.
2) Sending core dumps is not particularily helpful, without the
executable --- and we generally won't look at other people's core dumps
and executables. You should run a debugger yourself and take a look at
the output.
3) In general, the better way to convert is by dumping out the database
in ascii format, and then reloading it using the new kdb5_edit.
