I am setting up Kerberos on using Linux 2.0.8. It compiles
fine when making the corrections I last wrote about...
#1 -----------------
Typo in "installation.ps" page 31
When doing "kdb5_edit" it is "add_rnd_key" not the written
"add_random_key"
Happens...
#2 -------------------
PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS ONE......
If I just do a kdb5edit I get
machine1:~# kdb5_edit
Segmentation fault
I have to do a ....
nfs1:~# kdb5_edit -r REALM1.INDIANA.EDU
kdb5_edit: quit
</bold>
to get it to work right (I assume it is working right then)
What process am I missing which allows the REALM1.INDIANA.EDU to be a
default
as I assume is happening in the illustration....
Either way a segmentation fault is a bad thing to happen as a default
case.
I assume I have something set wrong and the wrong setting is handling
something
, or rather NOT handling the case....
</bold>
I think this probably shows some faulty understanding on my part. But
it indicates to me that I am missing something fairly big.
