Umm, I'm pretty sure that this *is* the current rdist distribution.
If you are aware of a specific *official* release newer than 6.1, send
me details...

Yeah, once *that's* thrown out and rewritten. (Remember, getting
stderr out of telnet is currently "nigh impossible" :-)
