Hi Ted,
I've got kinit and klist running!!! (Solaris on SLC - K5b5 (CNS 95-5-5)
We hope to setup a Xyplex-Kerberos service, but we're using a sparcII as a
client for a test first. kinit and klist work ok on that client.
Now to configure 'rlogin' for that client, I've gone to the server host and
run kadmin on that machine:
1: kadmin
Welcome to the Kerberos Administration Program, version 2
Type "help" if you need it.
admin: ank rlogin.miucsv
Admin password:
Password for rlogin.miucsv:
Verifying, please re-enter Password for rlogin.miucsv:
kadm error: Could not connect to server
admin: quit
Cleaning up and exiting.
2:
script done on Wed Jun 26 12:15:11 1996
(miucsv is the client machine)
What does the error "kadm: Could not connect to server" mean?
Thanks for your sage advice,
Charlie
p.s. I'll start digging again...
p.p.s. My boss wants me to work on this CNS 95-5-5 code.
