Are you on the Kerberos mailing list? If not, let me know and I'll add
you to the list. On Suns, there seems to be a problem with imake/cpp
which I mentioned on the list:

Tom,
(Actually, my name is Ted, but don't worry about it! :-)
Sorry, I seem to have lost your address. In installing V5 on
a Sun 4/110, a problem exists in the expansion of "PepsyTarget". For
reasons remaining unknown the "@echo ..." drops the leading tab upon
expansion. The problem is fixed on Suns by including a backslash "\"
prior to the colon ":" after the word "Warning" within the "@echo ..."
statement. This confirms both the symptom and the cure. I have not
investigated the effect of this fix on other platforms. Thank you
for your assistance.
If someone on the list could explain *why* the colon in the definition
of PepsyTarget needs to be backslashed on Suns, I would appreciate it if
you could satisfy my curiosity; I don't understand what's
broken/different with the imake or cpp on Sun such that this problem
exists.
In any case, for those of you with Suns that are trying to compile
Kerberos V5; you will need to make this change to your Project.tmpl file
or you will have problems when you try to make the lib/asn.1 directory.

This should fix your problem.
