	I do believe people have gotten beta5 to work on AIX, although
it  involved several patches.

	This probably isn't an AIX bug; you won't see those until you
try and use kadmin, telnet, rlogin, etc.
It could be a number of things:
* recvauth returns errors improperly; check the syslog for possible
server-side errors.
* there was a bug getting sserver to work under inetd; try stand alone
mode.

	Beta 5 had some fairly nasty bugs with AIX, but it had some
fairly impressive bugs overall.  It is one of the more betaish betas
we have released; I would consider using beta 4-3 or Kerberos4 until
Beta 6 comes out.  I am currently successfully using our current
source tree on an AIX box.

	Alternatively, you can look over bug reports and consider
applying the patches people have submitted to us yourself.  The
