hi - i've been trying to install kerberos5 beta5 and
i seem to have problems with decryption of the input
on the client side.
here's what i do:
1. kinit -f sushi
2. telnet -f -a -l sushi <machine A>
if i do an "encrypt start" at this point - it prints garbage.
an "encrypt stop" does not set it back to cleartext mode.
if i use a .telnetrc file, and set autoencrypt - that
works fine. when i set autodecrypt - it prints garbage.
if i dont use the encrypt option - i get a clock skew
error (see p.s.) but i do manage to login.
has anyone else seen this problem and is there a fix for it ?
i used to have encryption working just fine in beta3.
thanks
-sushi
p.s. with the ANL patches, i dont get any errors.
without the patches - i get a clock skew error at
the client (telnet) end, and telnetd with debug on
says "Could not read forwarded credentials"
