   The autoconf tool looks for vsyslog() and if it doesn't find
   it, links in lib/krb5/posix/syslog.o which contains source
   for vsyslog, syslog, openlog, closelog

Thanks for reporting this problem!  I've removed that check for
vsyslog() in the autoconf script in our sources, and changed the one
place in the krb5 sources which was using vsyslog() to use vsprintf().
