I've been trying to connect to the ATHENA-DIST.MIT.EDU host
but have been unsuccessful at doing so. I'm using Chameleon NFS on a
Compaq PC. Could you tell me if the server is still active or if
there is something in particular I need to know about in order to
connect to this host.
NFS access to ATHENA-DIST.MIT.EDU is not supported outside of MIT. (It
requires Kerberos authentication using a Athena-specific extension to
NFS.)
The appropriate way for people to access ATHENA-DIST.MIT.EDU is via ftp.
