The current build of krshd in the krb5 locker, build from a
snapshot taken September 8 for AIX fails when the Linux-Athena krsh
(V4) tries to connect to it with a decrypt integrity error. I don't
think I will have time to look into thissoon, so I'm reporting it.
A quick check shows that Athena 7.7M rsh from an AIX box to an
AIX box running the v5 krshd fails as well, so it is likely not OS
dependent. Note that v5krlogind works to AIX from both Linux and AIX.
Also, v5krsh works to AIX from AIX.
