I am hoping to reach the developers for Network Identity Manager. The
login window pops up as my system is booting. I often get part way
through typing my password, when another startup application pops up
over the ID Mgr window. I often click on the top bar of the window to
return focus to the application, and complete typing my password.
However, the field of focus is now the Username field, and not the
password field. The "fix" should be me clearing the field and then
ensuring the right info is in the right box. However, the application
remembers whatever you type into the Username field, so clicking the
down arrow dutifully displays fragments of my password! Yikes! I poked
around, and finally cleaned out the mess from the registry. Perhaps the
app should only "remember" usernames that have successfully logged in?
Cheers,
Tanya
