Hesiod isn't a security system.  It's simply a name service for arbitrary
objects and services which is built on top of the familiar Internet domain
naming system; it simply generalizes the notion of what can be stored by
the DNS.  That's all.  It serves the same function as Sun's Yellow Pages,
more or less.
