I can only tell you from my experience.  I have found that Cygnus UN*X
clients work with servers running MIT Kerberos.  I do not have the programs
to try the reverse.  

As far as PC machines go, my Mac is working fine using Authentication
Manager and NiftyTelnet.  The Cygnus client did not work correctly and I
have not been given access to the directory for the updated copy.

I have given up on IBM type machines.  I hope OS/2's kerberos client works
but there are no applications kerberos equiped.
