I have installed Kerberos V5 version BETA 5(MIT distribution) on a pc with
Linux (kernel version 1.2.13 ). I have a problem with the sendauth function
(I think). I followed the instructions of 'Notes on Building and
Installing Kerberos' that came with the source code. ( i've done 'make check'
too and all seems correct). The problem is the next :
I prepared all for testing the 'Sample Application' (sclient and sserver)
1. I add the appropiate entry to the kerberos database using kdb5_edit.
2. I create a /etc/v5srvtab file for the server machine.
3. I install the service program (sserver) and the /etc/v5srvtab file on
the server machine (that is the same machine that the client)
4. Update the /etc/services file on the machine.
5. Run the sclient program with the name of the machine as argument.
mirto:/krb5/bin$ sclient mirto
sclient: Software caused connection abort while using sendauth
if someone has the same problem , please tell me what's happennig and how
can i solve it.
