Subject: OpenV*Secure NX Version Setup problems

    We got an evaluation copy of OpenV*Secure NX Version 1.21
for Solaris 2.3, 2.4 and try to setup the Kerberos
(Verion 5) envirnoment on a SUN workstation running Solaris 2.5 (SunOS 5.5),
but we found that we have facing the following problems :

    We have installed packages on this Sun workstation :

    Secure Primary Server
    Service Provider
    Administration Console
    Client Workstation

PROBLEM 1
==========

    When we try to use "secure_admin" tools , the login window prompt us

    in Realm    : ASL.COM.HK
    Principal   : root/admin@ASL.COM.HK
    password    :

    We have typed the correct password , but the systems response

    "OpenV*SecureAdmin : Clock Skew too great in KDC reply"

    Thus, we can't use the "secure_admin" to add principle and others now.

PROBLEM 2
=========

    Instead of using "secure_admin" tool, we have tried use "kdb5_edit"
command to add principles. But, when we tried to get the initial
ticket-granting ticket from authentication server with "kinit"

   $ kinit viclai
   password for viclai@ASL.COM.HK:

   the reponse error message below :

   "kinit: KDC reply did not match expectations while getting initial
    credentials"

============================================================================

    Would you mind to help us solve the above problems ??

    Also, when we faced any error messages from the OpenV*Secure-NX,
    can you tell where can find the message reference ??

    Thank in advance.

Regards,

  Victor Lai
