Kerberized telnetd for AIX 4.1.4?

Does anyone out there have a working Kerberized telnetd
for AIX 4.1.4? We've been trying to compile one for the
last week. It compiles okay but doesn't work very well.
For example, after I telnet into an AIX 4.1.4 machine
running our kerberized telnetd, I try to do a "su - root".
The screen subsequently freezes. Or I can be working for
a while and then the screen will freeze.
If anyone has this working, please contact me. Or if you
have any suggestions on code modifications, we'd be interested
in hearing about those too.
