internal compiler error means one of two things: you've got memory
problems, try the build again and see if it works this time (PC
hardware is often trash, and it shows most with memory) or you've got
a bug in gcc, so upgrade to something newer. (then again, I'm doing
fine with gcc 2.6.3 under debian linux.)
