The proper principal name for rsh is host, so extracting to
/etc/v5srvtab should be sufficient.
I am not sure why the code isn't working for you; nothing in your
message indicated an obvious problem. I wouldn't expect the 5.5 code
to work on Irix and I'm amazed you got it to compile.
