I use PGP [integrated with some alpha communications software you'll see
in several months] frequently with certain people and businesses, diddle
with PGP Fone over ISDN, and from time to time PGP-sign documents such as
non-disclosure forms for companies who will accept it (versus the
cut-and-paste signature onto fax documents :-)
All of these communications would be impossible without cryptography to
ensure its privacy.
I'm also experimenting using multi-realm Kerberos for protected telnet to
the several different domains I access daily. (I'd also use Kerberos for
apps that use it, such as Eudora.)
