Has anyone got a Kerberos client running on a DOS PC, OS/2 PC
   or 80186/80286/80386 system.

This isn't a complete answer, but it may help a little. . .

The Kerberos client sources were originally checked out (in 1986)
under PC/DOS, and sometime last fall I verified that they still worked
by compiling and building verify and kinit/klogin for my PC. Verify
worked, indicating that the DES library built correctly, and
kinit/klogin were successful in obtaining tickets from the UNIX
server. However, the sources for the one application that was
originally implemented for the PC (tftp) seem to have been misplaced,
so I wasn't able to get a client running that used the tickets. I
would expect that last step to be a fairly small project, though.
