K5B5 kprop broken?

I've seen questions about K4 slaves, but has anyone tried it with K5B5?
I have the host/machine principals in the KDC, and when kprop runs I see:
kprop: ASN.1 structure is missing a required field while encoding database size
Is there a patch or some other fix for this? System is RS/6000, AIX 3.2.5
and 4.1.1.
