Hi,
Im having a few problems with trying to get kprop/ kpropd to work in
a DEC OSF/1 3.0 3.2 environment, at present we are using kerberos to
authenticate PPP users comming in via a terminal server and this is all
working quite well, we just want to expand the use of kerberos & thought we
should start having some slave servers.
What its doing is that when I run ./kprop axis.scu.edu.au on the server,
the mesg thats returned is :--
./kprop: ASN.1 structure is missing a required field while encoding database siz
e
Memory fault
Ive followed the notes on setting up a slave server & have the files
/krb5/slave_datatrans
/krb5/slave_datatrans.dump_ok
ready to be picked up.
I can see a ticket is requested for the transfer & by running kprod on the
slave machine on the command line via
./kpropd -dS I see the request comming in to the slave
ie running
/usr/local/kerberos/krb5/sbin/kpropd -dSp /usr/local/kerberos/krb5/admin/kdb5_edit
Returns....

Can anyone sugest what the problem could be or even where to look.
Thanks for any help,
John
