I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place...please no flames if I'm
in error! We (Ashland University) just installed Kerberos on our Sun
and would like to use it off of our /etc/passwd file instead of the
Kerberos database for user authentication. Is this possible? If not,
is there a way to build the Kerberos database off of the passwd file?
We're trying to use Kerberos on our terminal server to authenticate use
of that device, but would like all registered users on our Sun to have
access to it, and with 8800 user accounts, we'd like to keep our user
databases and few as possible.

If this is posted to the wrong place, please advise on where I can post
and where I can subscribe. Please send email to the below address.
Thanxx in advance for any and all help! :)
