Can ULTRIX DECwindows authenticate via Kerberos?

I have a few VAXes running VAX ULTRIX 4.2, and they are functioning
fine with a replaced login program to authenticate via Kerberos.
However, DECwindows also uses login, and the replacement BSD login
just doesn't agree with DECwindows, because of how it starts up.
Is it possible to get the native login to authenticate with Kerberos,
or is there a suitable login replacement that will work with
DECwindows?
