It is MIT's intent to revise the Kerberos protocol to fix some problems
we have with it (e.g. the need to indicate encryption type, longer-lived
tickets). However, as I will be away from MIT until early April on other
business, the protocol revision work will be delayed until after I
return.
If you have any concerns about things to fix or change in the protocol,
please collect your comments and mail them to kerberos@athena.mit.edu.
When I return we will probably schedule discussions on protocol issues.
