Group Mission
-------------
The Open Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure group at Texas
Instruments Inc. provisions applications for use by Texas
Instruments Inc.  This includes fanout and support of industry
proven, standards based applications as well as integration of
"best of class" solutions into the TI infrastructure.
Job Description
---------------
Join a distributed security software development team.  Tasks
will be focused on production roll-out of encryption services.
Evaluate commercial certification authority services and
certification authority software.  Implement private key
management infrastructure.  Use commercial software todevelop
common, reusable encryption services library including public
key encryption, symmetric encryption, and key negotiation
algorithms.  Implement specific encryption renderings which may
include MOSS, S/MIME, or PEM.  Cooperate with e-mail and
electronic commerce solutions providers to ensure maximum
leverage of encryption services and key management
infrastructure.
Experience Required
-------------------
Five years or more related experience designing applications and
developing in C++.  Development experience should include Windows
and UNIX (Solaris and HP-UX).  Experience developing
cryptographic applications.  Familiarity with authentication
protocols.  Background in mathematics and/or its applicability to
encryption services is beneficial.  Must be able to work with
both technically oriented and non-technical customers.
Minimum Education
-----------------
BS/MS in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering
Other Related/Beneficial Skills
-------------------------------
UNIX administration tasks.  UNIX internals.
Working knowledge of MFC.
Working knowledge of UNIX integrity tools.
Smalltalk experience also beneficial.

-------------
Must be willing to relocate to the Dallas, Tx area.

Authentication services will be implemented in conjunction with
Kerberos v5.  Data integrity and privacy services will be
provided using gss-api.  Implement authorization services using
C++ and object oriented data base.  Develop administration
tools for Windows and UNIX users.
