: It means that you didn't type a password into login.krb; basically, login.krb serves two purposes. First, it can accept a password and automagically get you tickets as well as logging you into the local system. Also, it can be the login program for rlogind. Basically, in its second role, it warns you that you don't have yet have tickets on the system you just logged in to.

The first suggestion: "It means that you didn't type a password into
login.krb;" could be correct if you were doing a kinit, but I am under the
impression that you are getting this message when you actually arrive on a
remote machine via a krlogin.
Well, that is sort of addressed in the second possibility give by Sam.
However, I think more accurately it means that no *forwarded* tickets have
been obtained by this new login (e.g. the tkt or prinipal you used to get
there didnt follow you and if you are going to go from this new machine to
somewhereelse, you will need to kinit once again).
basically, Brian, you can ignore the message.
my 2 cents, no offense Sam :)
