v4 or v5 for Sun server & Mac clients?

I'm preparing to install kerberos for the first time on our
network, which has a SunSparc20 server (Solaris) and a slew
of public Mac terminals. From what I can figure from the
various documentation, the Mac clients available use the v4
protocols. On the other hand, it looks like v5 can handle
those, too.

So I'd guess that I can try to run either v4 or v5. Neither
is on the system yet, though Solaris seems to have a few
kerberos (v4, I think) hooks (e.g. kinit and a few others).

Any suggestions as to which I should get? I'm tempted to
go with v5 but am worried that I'll have compatability
to deal with on top of just getting it up and running...
