[5871] in Kerberos

After many, many trials we've got kerberos 4 (sorry) from cygnus
running on a FreeBSD machine (master), with UnixWare 2.0 boxes as
slaves. Access is via Xyplex 1600 Terminal Servers, and -- hard to
believe -- it works!
Except for one tiny thing: every time I run kadmin on either the
master or the slaves, I get --

What does this error message mean, and how do I fix it. BTW, my database
is permitted 644, and the directories are accessable also.
