Kerberos and X11R6 ?

The releasenotes of X11R6 say that kerberos5 is supported by X11R6. So I tried
to compile X11R6 with "HasKrb5" set to "YES" on a sun sparc running solaris
2.4. I am currently using Kerberos5 Beta 5.
Now the compiler(gcc 2.6.3) complains on quite all kerberos
functions in the X-Source (starting with krb5_). It seems that X11R6 was
designed for a quite different kerberos Version. But for which ?
Sometime the interface of the
kerberos functions in the X sources compared to the declarations in krb5.h
are missing just one parameter, sometimes the interface seems
to have changed quite a lot.
So i'd like to know if there is a Version of kerberos that works with X11R6 (we
are currently using X11R6 patchlevel 11).
Can anyone tell me? If there is, does this special version even compile
on solaris? Was anyone successfull in using kerberos for X11R6 ?
