I too am interested in this. I am currently having problems with the Makefiles
that imake generates (using imake and makedepend which are already installed)
I am using gcc version 2.6.3 and either the make which comes with the machine
or gnu make version 3.71. In both cases the build process fails while trying to
run make Makefiles. Examination of the makefile reveals extra spaces and tabs
inserted on some lines starting with #. If I remove these extra tabs and spaces
and run make Makefiles the spaces and tabs are put back.
Has anyone got this to compile under AIX on an RS6000 PowerPC ?
Which compiler and version did you use? gcc? cc?
Any other special tricks or changes needed?
