As I remember this was based on the use of DCE Directory Server to
authenticate the user and then pass the authenicated user across to
RACF. DCE seems to be the way to go for this kind of intergrated
security solution. Unfourtunately this is all a bit embryonic at this
stage. As stated the IBM redbook has all of the relevent details.
