- - Not neccessarily, ( damn I'll never learn to spell that word!). Kerberos allows
you to do key exchange to encrypt the session using DES, but it's not the default.
What program do you use to "login" to the router? It should have an option to set
up an encrypted session , -x for rlogin and telnet is common.
