Hello all,
We have a problem with our 20 port xyplex access server and kerberos authentication system.
In many cases the correct spelled password is not recognized and the user has to type it again. This is not possible with some of our login scripts.
Our kerberos master / primary server is a linux 486 which has nothing else to do, so there cannot be a timing problem.
Our kerberos system is MIT Version 5beta5 but because of problems with V5 we decided to use Kerberos V4.
If we try to get a ticket with 'kinit <user>' from the Kerberos server itself no problem occures and the password is recognized the first time.
The Xyplex server tells us the kerberos error codes 37 or 62.
In the kerberos documentation we found only:
KRB_AP_ERR_SKEW 37 Clock skew too great
Error code 62 is only placeholder.
In the documentation of the Xyplex server is nothing which would help us, so we hope you can help.
We have the xyplex server for about two months now and as an internet provider we must have a functioning terminal server...
