Compiling kerberos on sunOS question

Has anyone else compiled kerberos under SunOS. My current problem is this:
_PASSWORD_LEN is not defined in any standard include file in /usr/include or
/usr/include/sys. For bsdi and alpha it is explicitly set to 128.

The man page for passwd under SunOS says min size of around 4 and they can
be longer than 8 but only eight bytes are used.

Any ideas? Also any hints on getting this working on SunOS would be greatly
appreciated. For example, would Life be easier if I turned on POSIX?

I am running SunOS 4.1.4 2

Please respond directly and I will send to anyone else who is interested.

Jeff
