I'm currently attempting to get Kerberos Beta 5 running correctly under
Linux 1.2.5. The problem that I'm having is that the clients are unable
to find the destination in the Kerberos database. For example
premier3:~$ /krb5/bin/kinit
Password for coneill@PREMIER.NET:
premier3:~$ /krb5/bin/rlogin premier3
rlogin: kcmd to host premier3 failed - Server not found in Kerberos database
trying normal rlogin (/usr/bin/rlogin)
Password:
At which point if I enter my password it works fine. My database is currently
as follows:
entry: coneill@PREMIER.NET
entry: K/M@PREMIER.NET
entry: host/premier3@PREMIER.NET
entry: host/premier3.premier.net@PREMIER.NET
entry: krbtgt/PREMIER.NET@PREMIER.NET
Any ideas? I'd really like to use this, but if this doesn't work, I don't
think I'll get much further.
