Folks,
Does anyone know of a set of conformance tests for GSS-API? What I mean by
this is a program or set of programs that link to a GSS-API library and
test all of its functionality. For mechanism specific parameters, a program
have to accept input from a terminal or other configurable source and supply
it to the appropriate routines (e.g., an external name to gss_import_name()).
I would even being willing to buy these, if the price is right.
If the economics are wrong for building them for sale, perhaps some University
professor with an interest in security could encourage a summer student or
a graduate student to produce such a test suite. I think this would be a very
valuable service to the ietf community. It also would be a way to get a
student up to speed on GSS-API, as a prelude to building a new GSS-API
mechanism.
